Our Services
As our firm has grown since its formation in 2005, so have the services we can offer. We now have a team of lawyers who can assist your business on almost any legal issue it may face
Whilst we specialise in advising commercial clients company, commercial, property, dispute resolution and employment legal issues, we have arrangements with other firms of solicitors who we feel can provide a sound service to our clients in areas of law we do not specialise in, for example private client work. If you are not sure if we can help you, ask us. We will not take on work beyond our areas of skill and if we can’t help you, we may be able to point you in the right direction.
Our client base is broad, including multi million international businesses. We also have a strong affinity with start-up enterprises, unlike most professional advisers, as we’ve actually done it ourselves! We chose advisers for our own firm who, where possible, had been through a start-up themselves - there is nothing like experience when you are giving advice.
Keeping up to date
Many solicitors promise to keep clients and contacts up to date with legal developments, so do we and we also intend to deliver, which many do not.
All clients are invited to regular workshops to help them understand key legal issues for their business and to ensure they are aware of new developments.
Bespoke Training
We are also happy to provide bespoke training to your organisation on any areas of concern in which we have the expertise and are always open to suggestions for workshop themes. Both of the firm's founders have wide experience of presenting workshops and seminars to a variety of audiences. In particular, Amanda Jefferies is widely regarded as a leading presenter on Employment law issues across the East Midlands, including at such prestigious events as the Annual ACAS Conference.
Workshops
Our workshops are usually included without further charge for all clients on monthly retainer terms.
E-mail updates
We will be providing regular e-mail updates on commercial and employment law developments to help our clients keep up to speed as the law changes. If you would like us to add you to our mailing list, just let us know. Employment retainer clients also receive contract and policy updates to help ensure that they keep their paperwork and procedures in shape in this fast moving area of law where many businesses feel most vulnerable to legal challenge.
We will keep you up to date on the legislation that effects you.
Our employment advice will help you avoid costly disputes.
